Fully Comprehensive BASI certified Pilates teacher

I trained in London with BASI (Body Arts & Science International) a highly reputable training school. I completed my Mat certification in 2023 before training in the BASI Fully Comprehensive Course, which I completed in February 2025.

The BASI Teacher Training Programme offers a contemporary, extensive and in-depth study of human movement relating specifically to the work of Joseph H. Pilates.

The comprehensive course is comprised of face-to-face module training with BASI UK faculty teachers. It is an in-depth study of Pilates on the apparatus involving over 500+ hours of study, self practise, teaching, observation, written and practical examinations.

Apparatus include the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector  and the BASI F2 Chair. I have a Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Spine Corrector in my studio in Owlsfoot Business Centre.

Self practice and ongoing training is a huge part in my life and in my development as a teacher.

I started practicing Pilates 16 years ago after having my first son. It quickly developed from an interest to a lifestyle choice, a passion and now a career! If I could only do one form of exercise forever, it would have to be Pilates!

I believe Pilates can be a core part of keeping healthy, active, strong and independent for as long as possible. I want to teach you the importance of the fundamental Pilates exercises and how they can be transitioned and incorporated into your everyday life.

My beautiful, light, fully equipped studio is on the top floor of Owlsfoot Business Centre, Sticklepath, North Dartmoor.

When I’m not teaching or self practicing Pilates or running around after 3 teenage boys, I love to trail run on Dartmoor or along the North Devon coastline where I grew up..
